Mill Finish Aluminum Sheet

Mill Finish Aluminum Sheet is the natural appearance of the aluminum as it is rolled from the rolling mill. Aluminum Sheets are produced whenever an aluminum block is passed between rolls under pressure. As it is rolled and re-rolled many times, it becomes stretched and longer in the direction it is moving.

Our mill finish aluminum sheet comes in many different grade:

1100-0 is used primarily for deep drawing and spinning such as utensils, ornaments, etc.

1100-H14 and 3003-H14 are used for general forming industry.

5005-H14 similar in physical properties to 3003-H14 with good corrosion resistance and a homogenous smooth surface finish suitable for anodizing. Widely used for curtain walls, decorative trim, control panel boxes and signs, etc.

5052-H32 and H34 is a better strength alloy of good forming qualities and is especially suited for Marine applications.

5083-H321  is one alloy of different tempers requires high weld joint efficiency. It is used for tank work, heavy transport, etc.

5454-H32 is a similar alloy to 5083 with a lower rating to stress corrosion when working in the 150°F to 300°F range. Typical applications are truck dump bodies, tanker trucks, exhaust stacks, chemical handling tanks on vessels, etc.

6061-T6 is an excellent general purpose alloy, having high strength and good corrosion resistance. It is used for all structural applications such as mine cars, logging chutes, and ship construction.

3003-H22 – Bright Finish Bendable

5086-H112 – Excellent Corrosion Characteristics

6061-T6 – Structural Applications – Not Bendable
